ISO 45001:2018

What is ISO45001:2018?

It is the latest re-write of the Internationally adopted British Standard ‘BS OHSAS 18001 : 2007’. It is now part of the ISO family. It lays out requirements to which an organisation must adhere, to demonstrate that it’s associated health & safety risks are managed within a framework committed to continually improving it’s Occupational Health & Safety performance. The framework is commonly referred to as a health & Safety management system. As ISO 45001:2018 is an internationally recognised standard, many health and safety management systems are based on its requirements.
